Liberal Senator Andrew Bragg says he will work to “try and get the best possible set of words” to maximise the referendum’s chance of success.

“One of the reasons referendums can be lost is because people feel there might be a risk to the country,” Mr Bragg told Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.

“There are risks here, with the wording that is being put forward, and I would prefer that we have a set of words which does not risk the institutional framework in any way.”
