MANILA - Vice-President Leni Robredo on Thursday distanced herself from supposed calls for the resignation of President Rodrigo Duterte as certain groups are supposedly hatching a plan for a mobilization of protesters on February 22.
"Hayagan ko pong sinasabi: Hindi ako bahagi ng anumang panawagang bumaba sa puwesto si Pangulong Duterte. Ang panawagan ko lang, sana gawin natin lahat ang trabaho natin bilang mga lingkod-bayan," Robredo said. "Nakarating po sa atin ang mga ulat ukol sa napipintong pagtitipon ng mga mamamayan sa ika-22 ng Pebrero,” Robredo said.
