.CharlyOnTV says female athletes fear being canceled if they speak about transgender competitors

“I cannot imagine the agony these girls are going through,” Arnolt told Fox News Tonight, referencing the national battle over biological males who identify as transgender females participating in women’s sports. “I know there’s so many of them who do not agree, and they are too scared to speak up because once they do, they know they’ll be canceled.”Arnolt criticized various sports governing bodies that she said have made a “loophole” for transgender athletes to get in “the women’s way.

“Disgraceful. I think there are so many phenomenal female athletes who could have used that recognition during Women’s Month, and instead, they chose to use biological male Lia Thomas. But really, it’s horrible what’s happening here as a whole. You look at the issue in its essence,” Arnolt said. “I can tell you exactly what’s happening.

“We’re saying, ‘Hey, listen, go back to running in the men’s division,’” Arnolt added. “‘Guess what? You can still wear your silly costume and sports bra, but stay out of the women’s way.’” Arnolt recently left ESPN and joined the conservative digital media company OutKick, where she said she can “speak freely.”“We’re giving so much power to the word ‘transphobic’ when really it’s come to mean nothing. All we’re doing is standing up for women’s rights. You really have to look at why this is getting to be such a slippery slope,” Arnolt said.

“Right now, a lot of the instances in the crossover we’re seeing with trans athletes are in individual sports,” she continued. “What happens when it starts happening in contact sports? Basketball, soccer, field hockey. Then we’re not talking about hurt feelings. We’re talking about potentially life-threatening injuries.”
