A Wisconsin woman accused of dismembering a murder victim attacked her attorney in court Tuesday moments after the judge delayed her trial.
Taylor Schabusiness, 25, attacked her lawyer, identified as Quinn Jolly, after Jolly requested that Brown County Circuit Court Judge Thomas Walsh delay Schabusiness's trial by two weeks to allow for an expert to review her competency, according to a report.Walsh agreed to delay the March 6 trial date, and, moments later, Schabusiness lunged at Jolly.
Schabusiness is facing charges of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and third-degree sexual assault charges related to the February 2022 murder of 25-year-old Shad Thyrion. After cutting him up, Schabusiness scattered her victim's body parts around a Green Bay residence and vehicle, prosecutors said.
