INDIAN WELLS, Calif. - Stan Wawrinka battled back to defeat British qualifier Dan Evans 6-7 6-3 6-3 at the BNP Paribas Open on Friday as the Swiss continued his slow climb back up the world rankings after a disappointing 2018.
