Watch Conan O’Brien tour Greenland in an attempt to buy it
After weeks of buildup and coy Instagram posts, the Conan Without Borders: Greenland special aired last night, following Conan O’Brien as he toured Greenland in an attempt to buy it.
The trip, which was inspired by a comment from Donald Trump about possibly buying Greenland, features a tireless O’Brien as he fights icy conditions and encounters bewildered locals, who treat him with an achingly polite Scandinavian remove. “No,” answers a man on the street when Conan asks if he is a Trump supporter, “But I would like to thank him for the publicity he’s given Greenland.” Well played, sir.
