Weeds are a common problem that can be difficult to deal with without resorting to chemicals. However, Mrs Hinch fans have a cheap and eco-friendly solution to getting rid of them
Gardeners are constantly battling weeds that pop up in the most inconvenient places, such as between paving stones and on driveways. While chemical weed killers offer a quick solution, they can be harmful to pets, wildlife, and the environment.
Victoria Jewell concurred, saying: "I just boil the kettle and pour it on. Kills them straight away! " Jean Clough and Kim Hudspeth also supported the boiling water approach. Caution is advised when using this method near lawns or flower beds, as it could harm desirable plants. Followers of cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch have also shared their go-to methods for weed control, which include salt, white vinegar, and employing a weed burner.
Ally East observed: "I tried the vinegar and washing up water method and it works, but have now decided that I like the effect of moss in amongst my slabs. Gives it a cottage-y feel, like the paving you see in gardens of listed buildings. I just pull up the weeds."
