Frisco library's mascot Rexy debuted during a Frisco City Council meeting.
The mascot arrived before the end of construction, but she doesn’t seem to mind, according to the library’s director.
“We’d like to welcome Rexy home,” Holley said. “She is having the experience many of us have had where we’ve ended up moving into our abode before the contractors are through.” “This weekend I happened to be walking around the building, checking on some things and noticed a number of people staring through the windows at her,” she said, chuckling. “So why not just show her off and be done with it. She is robust and amazing and happy to be in Texas.”
