WeLoveYamiche trends after Donald Trump accuses reporter of asking 'threatening' question at coronavirus briefing
The hashtag #WeLoveYamiche was trending on social media Monday morning after President Donald Trump told the White House correspondent Yamiche Alcindor not to be"threatening" during a coronavirus press conference.reporter asked the president about his claim state authorities did not need as much medical equipment as they were requesting. Trump made the claim during an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News.
Alcindor continued with her question, asking Trump how his view would impact fulfilments of medical equipment orders. He later added:"You, me, we're all on the same team. When journalists get up and you're a journalist, a fine journalist, and ask questions that are so threatening—we're all on the same team."Iâm not the first human being, woman, black person or journalist to be told that while doing a job.
