There's renewed concern about crowd safety following the Astroworld tragedy.

Steve places the onus on event managers to "plan accordingly using competent personnel who specialise in this area. Steve highlights that event organisers must have a “Showstop Procedure," which is a "last line of defence for any life threatening incident relating to the crowds. Dr. Anders Johansson added, “While I should stress that the onus is on the organisers of an event to ensure the safety of the visitors, if you nonetheless find yourself in a situation where you do not feel safe, then try to be pro-active and move away from the densest parts of the crowd, before it gets out of hand.
