This intriguing mid-engined supercar has been imagined by a GM designer with a split windshield car auto cars
Corvette was introduced to much fanfare, it’s actually been four years since it was first showcased and development of its successor is no doubt underway. Could it look a little like this?
The striking sketch was created by Dylan Schmidt, a Creative Designer at General Motors Advanced Design studio, and was recently shared on the GM Design . The sketch depicts a captivating mid-engined supercar that takes the design cues of the C8 Corvette and catapults them into a futuristic realm. It’s radical, bold, and extremely eye-catching.The front end of the car in this sketch has a pronounced front splitter as well as sharp LED headlights neatly incorporated into the bodywork.
General Motors has also published a second sketch on Instagram by another one of its designers, Jihoon Kim, that also caught our attention. In this case, we can see a very sleekcrossover that could be an excellent addition to the company’s range. It is only shown from the rear but we can see it sports a full-width LED light bar, a shapely rear fascia, a spoiler stretching off from the roof, and particularly sleek C-pillars.
