Borussia Dortmund's next English breakout star continues to make a name for himself in Europe - despite the moniker change on his shirt.'The next Sancho' gives shout-out to Rashford as Dortmund's latest English star bags goal
His new lease of life has coincided with using a shorter version of his surname on the back of his shirt for the 2024/25 season.The England youth international dropped the first part of his double-barrelled surname from his shirt on his father's advice.this summer: "Both are the names of my father, but he said that he thinks it's better if I'm only called Gittens because it's shorter.
He made 25 appearances across 34 matches last season and scored his first Champions League goal, but that was one of only two efforts. Gittens has already more than doubled that tally this term and is on the cusp of being a household name.
