For the life of me, I don’t understand this dilemma.
Wanting to see the fridge in person, you visit the retailer’s physical location the next day. Once you’re inside the store, your smartphone connects to the in-store network, alerting a saleswoman about the refrigerator you viewed online the day before. The saleswoman, armed with this knowledge, shows you not only the refrigerator you viewed, but also a few other similar options.
You then go on Facebook and tell your friends and family about the wonderful experience you had, recommending the same retailer to those in the market for an appliance. , sponsored by Oracle, revealed that only one in five marketers identified omnichannel marketing as one of their largest ecommerce marketing investment priorities. And nearly half of respondents said their omnichannel marketing is below expectations.
