Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have reportedly moved back in together after separating in 2016. The couple, who kept their split private for years, discuss their relationship challenges and renewed commitment.
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are sharing their house again. The couple, who got married in 1997, reportedly started cohabiting once more "two years ago" after a period of separation.
In October 2023, Jada revealed on NBC's Today show that they had secretly separated in 2016 but remained married. She described it as "a divorce on paper, but it was a divorce," explaining they were "exhausted with trying" and "still stuck in our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be.
" Despite the split, they continued to support each other and present a united front. An insider recently confirmed that they are now happy, love each other, and remain committed to supporting one another while living together again. The family, including their children Willow and Trey, were recently spotted together at Christian Louboutin's Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show during Paris Fashion Week.
They also traveled to Philadelphia to celebrate the Fourth of July and the 250th anniversary of the United States, where Will Smith was scheduled to perform but faced weather delays, eventually performing with The Roots at 2am. Their relationship began on the set of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" when Jada auditioned for the role of Will's girlfriend. They married on New Year's Eve 1997 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Over the years, they have navigated complex public perceptions and personal challenges, including previous rumors about their marriage. In February, Jada shared a Valentine's Day gift from Will: life-sized pillows of their blended family, symbolizing their continued bond. The couple's journey reflects a desire to work through difficulties and redefine their partnership on their own terms
