Garrett Wilson ha escuchado comparaciones con Davante Adams desde abril, el momento en el que Aaron Rodgers se unió a los Jets de Nueva York.
El quarterback ha ayudado a alimentar ese discurso, elogiando a su nuevo compañero con el número 17 y diciendo cómo algún día puede llegar a ser como el anterior si sigue trabajando como lo ha hecho.
“Nuestra química es buena”, dijo Wilson. “Es tan buena como puede ser en este punto. Todavía tenemos que salir y conseguir repeticiones de juego. Tienes una prueba de ello, pero falta un partido completo para saber en dónde estamos y que tanto podemos mejorar”. “Sentimos que tenemos muy buenas cosas que traer a la mesa”, dijo Wilson. “Sé lo que hemos trabajado desde el primer día y en cada repetición que tengo con él, que es enorme. Sé que estamos en el mismo canal… No estamos en donde queremos estar, pero estamos en una buena posición”.
En eso es similar a Adams, quien se convirtió en el receptor más confiable de Rodgers durante sus ocho temporadas juntos en Green Bay. Adams llegó tres veces a ser parte del equipo All-Pro y seis veces al Pro Bowl mientras se establecía como uno de los mejores jugadores de su posición.
