A 23-year-old woman was due in bond court later this weekend after a deadly knife attack in the Edgewater neighborhood that left a 21-year-old man dead, police said.
Isis Monae was charged with murder and aggravated battery, police said.Monae, who lives in the block where the stabbing occurred, was expected in court on Sunday to face the charges, police said.Killed was a 21-year-old still-unidentified man who died of a stab wound to the chest, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
A man and a woman were on a sidewalk in the 5200 block of North Sheridan Road, about 11:45 Wednesday when a Monae, armed with a knife attempted to attack them, according to police.Advertisement
