San Antonio police are investigating after aA woman crashed her car into a Northeast Side house early Sunday morning, while another driver crashed into a tree on the same property.SAN ANTONIO — A woman crashed her car into a Northeast Side house early Sunday morning, while another driver crashed into a tree on the home’s front yard, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
At 1:05 a.m., the two drivers were reported to be involved in a situation that led to their crashing in the 4200 block of Clear Lake Drive, police said. The woman who hit the house was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. The woman and a female passenger in the car were uninjured.Meanwhile, the driver and a female passenger who were in the car that struck the tree were taken to University Hospital in serious condition, the SAPD said.
The San Antonio Fire Department had to brace the house from inside to prevent it from collapsing, police officers on the scene said. No one was in the house at the time of the incident, police said.
