Lyndhurst police were called to intervene when a Solon man and Lyndhurst Animal Clinic had a dispute.
Lyndhurst police were called to a home when a woman, 46, reported that her stepson, 32, wanted to fight her.At 12:10 p.m. Oct. 11, a woman who had a sign in her yard supporting Issue 1 for abortion rights, reported that during the previous night she heard a thud outside her home.
Lyndhurst police, along with Beachwood police, were sent to the hotel to investigate. The dispatcher researched the phone number the suspect provided and it returned to a residence in Warrensville Heights. Further investigation revealed that the phone number provided by the suspect was one digit different than that of the Hyatt Hotel. Police, nonetheless, checked all rooms on the Hyatt Place fourth floor, and then all of the hotel’s rooms, and found all was in order.At 8:25 a.m. Oct. 10, Legacy Village security reported that two people were sleeping in a Cadillac Escalade parked on the fifth floor of the Hyatt Place garage.
The man also appeared to have psychiatric issues, which was confirmed when police contacted his father. Police cited the Wickliffe man, 30, for drug abuse and had him taken to Hillcrest Hospital.At 9:05 a.m. Oct. 12, a man, 47, of Solon, called police because he wanted officers to stand by while he attempted to pick up paperwork from Lyndhurst Animal Clinic, 5387 Mayfield Road. He said that there had been prior tension between him and the staff.
