A new mid-season trailer for Marvel Studios' X-Men '97 animated series is out, and teases the appearance of a legendary Marvel character.
The latest season acts as a preview for the remaining five episodes in the series, but fans were quick to spot that‘s shield can be seen briefly in the trailer. The shield can be seen flying into view, although nothing else is shown off.
Elsewhere in the trailer, the X-Men will look to continue their adventures and also try to rebuild themselves up following the surprising events of Episode 5, “Remember It.
X-Men ’97 will explore new stories in the iconic 90s timeline of the original series. It hails from head writer Beau DeMayo, along with directors Jake Castorena, Chase Conley, and Emi Yonemura.
