Audi has announced that the Formula 1 show car it presented earlier this year to celebrate its F1 announcement is now available to play in EA Sports and Codemasters’ F1 2022 video game.racer is being introduced as part of the “Podium Pass Series 4 VIP Tier,” and has been playable since December 7. Players will be able to take on the rest of the F1 grid in the new Audi show car that has been recreated in “perfect detail,” according to the automaker.
“There was incredible excitement when Audi announced it would be joining the F1 grid,” said Jeal. “We are excited to deliver the stunning launch livery toplayers as part of Podium Pass Series 4, allowing Audi to establish itself as a title contender in the virtual world ahead of its debut in 2026.” When it does arrive, Audi’s F1 car will be packed with new technology. The automaker has partnered with the longstanding Sauber racing team to develop the car, the first tests of which are expected to take place in 2025. Audi plans to create its own engines for the sport at its Neuberg an der Donau facility, which will incorporate more electric assistance and synthetic fuels than the current F1 racecars.
