Actor Brad Pitt continues to be hesitant about marriage following his contentious divorce with Angelina Jolie, with his strained relationship with their six children also affecting it. The situation has caused controversy regarding his old Instagram posts with his adopted son, Pax, where he called Pitt 'despicable' and claimed he made his children tremble in fear.
Actor Brad Pitt poses during a photocall for the film Babylon at the Grand Rex in Paris, France, on Jan 14, 2023. The 62-year-old actor - who was married to Jennifer Aniston from 2000 to 2005 and Angelina Jolie from 2014 to 2019 - has been dating Ines de Ramon since 2022 but his contentious divorce from Jolie has put him off tying the knot for a third time.
A source told DailyMail.com: "Marriage is not on the cards. Although Pitt and de Ramon are very happy, and he enjoys the peace and support of his easy-going girlfriend, friends say they can't see him getting married again or having more children. Brad's relationship with his six children with Jolie - Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17 - is also said to have become severely strained since the split.
A source said: "The antagonism is huge. He has been alienated from the kids completely. It is devastating to him.
" Meanwhile, back in 2023, old private Instagram posts by Pax where he called Brad "despicable" and claimed Pitt made his children "tremble in fear" were unearthed but the star chose not to respond publicly. Pax said in the explosive rant posted to mark Father's Day in 2020 when he was 16 - and which was later revealed by DailyMail.com: "You time and time and again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person.
"You have no consideration or empathy toward your four youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence. "You will never understand the damage you have done to my family because you are incapable of doing so. Pax was adopted by Angelina in Vietnam in 2007, and alongside his rant he posted a photo of Brad collecting an Oscar, and added: "You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want but the truth will come to light someday.
" An insider told the MailOnline about the post: "It's the account he uses for friends - friends from school mostly. He never says much about his parents. He keeps himself to himself, so that was unusual.
" A member of Brad's inner circle told The Sun: "Brad has great respect for all of his children and it's depressing to see this dragged up. "It's frustrating to see Brad being painted as some kind of 'bad person' when it's far from the truth. Angelina filed for divorce from the star in 2016, two years after they married and days after reports of a clash between Brad and Pax's older brother Maddox on a private jet.
The alleged row sparked a probe by the FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services.
