. After getting the splint removed, Altuve began fielding ground balls earlier this month and started hitting last week. Since he hasn’t played in a game in nearly two months, Altuve’s rehab stint should be extensive, although, by rule, rehab assignments are limited to 20 days for non-pitchers. The Space Cowboys are home for three games against El Paso this weekend before hitting the road for six games in Oklahoma City. Sugar Land returns for a six-game homestand beginning May 23.
