AKRON, Ohio — A man was arrested in connection with the break-in of a church in downtown when officers were called to the report of a disabled vehicle and found the suspect with items taken from the church, police say.

It was a short time later that officers were notified about a disabled vehicle downtown on Selle Street. Police responding to the call reportedly found Jason Combs, 37, with a cart with items stolen from the church, including the charcoal bricks.
