Ross presides over the board and has been elected to weigh in on important decisions around governance of the company, including compensation, officer appointments, and company policy.operations at Equinox or SoulCycle, but he has a say in how the money from both businesses are invested. Equinox's statement was very misleading.
Even worse, when I canceled my Equinox membership over the phone, I was told there would be a 45-day holding period before my cancellation would go into effect. I know how popular SoulCycle and Equinox are within the gay community because of their Pride-themed rides and workouts and LGBTQ-inspired workout gear. So it was devastating to hear that they have a chairman who is fighting against the very community that they claim to support. During Pride month this June, SoulCycle launched"All Souls Welcome" to highlight the studios LGBTQ community of riders and instructors.
