Renee Zellwegger opens up about a fourth Bridget Jones movie
This month we have mega star and Bridget Jones herself, Renee Zellweger gracing our cover - and we couldn't be more excited.
She talked to us about her six year break from Hollywood, her love affair with London, and what it's like playing iconic star Judy Garland in new biopic- but of course, what we all wanted to know was, will we be getting a fourth Bridget Jones movie?! We're thinking Mark Darcy and Bridge battling with their now-teenager, as he starts his own foray into love and all its trials and tribulations.Unfortunately, we didn't get a definite yes, but Renee did say she would be up for it: 'I mean, if that’s what Helen [Fielding] wants to do, it sounds fun,' she explained.
We know that's rather aloof, but the star did open up about some of the bad choices she's made in her life, too: I got some bad advice. I made some pretty bad choices… It was pretty dark. And sad. But I don’t look at it as wasted life, because I learned a lot from it – and that’s what I needed, I guess. I learned a lot about perspective. To recognise different patterns of my behaviour. To understand different consequences. And so I’m just grateful.
