Getting a mammogram can be lifesaving. It can also be expensive, especially for those without health insurance. One local hospital is bridging the gap so people can afford mammograms.

October is breast cancer awareness month, and through the Together for Her campaign, NEA Baptist Hospital is raising funds to provide mammograms free of charge for women across northeast Arkansas and southeast Missouri.

Andrews says the Together for Her campaign kicked off three years ago- with a mission to serve those in our community- by bridging the gap and offering mammograms to women who might not be able to receive the potentially lifesaving test. With it being October, NEA Baptist spotlighted the Together for Her campaign with a push to raise funds this month. Andrews says one hundred percent of the donations donated go to the fund.
