Police said, around 8:15 a.m., an off-duty officer was involved in a shooting near Grand and Laramie Avenues. Police did not provide any details on the circumstances of the shooting. The off-duty officer was taken to a hospital for observation and released, and will be placed on routine administrative duties for 30 days.
