The Manfrotto Pixi Evo 2 is a versatile mini tripod that can support DSLRs and mirrorless cameras. It's an ideal travel tripod and light enough to slip in a coat pocket.
A sturdy ball-and-socket joint enables the Pixi Evo to be used in portrait and landscape modes, with the camera able to be tilted through 90 degrees while still offering sufficient stability to be still enough for sharp images with slow shutter speeds and long exposures.
One slight drawback with the design is the maximum height with the legs fully extended. At 19.5cm it could do with being a bit higher, but it’s always possible to find a table or some other raised platform to place the tripod on for higher shots. The wide splay of the legs helps with stability, especially when shooting in portrait mode.The overall construction of the Pixi Evo 2 is excellent and, because it’s made mostly from aluminum, it weighs in at just 265g.
