The SWAT situation that closed two residential blocks in Spenard lasted for nearly six hours Friday.
ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A suspect has been taken into custody following a prolonged investigation at a west Spenard residence on Friday afternoon and evening.that 37-year-old Jessie Skinner has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of third-degree assault, fourth-degree misconduct involving a weapon and reckless endangerment.
Just after 3:30 p.m., police alerted the public to be aware of a large police presence on West 29th Place near the intersection of Arctic and Benson boulevards.
