A Stomper complained about a seafood stall at Kim San Leng Food Centre in Singapore after she received a much different meal than what was advertised in their promotional photo. The Stomper paid $6 for a plate of fish rice with an advertised add-on deal of vegetables and soup for $1. However, she received a small portion of lettuce and a bowl of brown water, which lacked the advertised ingredients.
said she visited JB Tai Pai Tong Seafood at Kim San Leng Food Centre, located at Block 511 Bishan Street 13, on Dec 19.
The Stomper recounted:"Reality was proven otherwise when I paid $5 for a plate of ginger and onion fish rice, plus an extra $1 for the above attractive deal. "Substituting the generous portion of tasty vegetables shown in that deceiving offer was, in reality, a horrible plate of three leaves of lettuce topped with oyster sauce.The Stomper felt that her lunch was only worth $3.50, adding:"Being duped out of $6 by the false advertisement, which is misrepresenting the actual product, is too expensive a mistake."One reviewer gave three stars and said that the $1 deal was"ok".
