Just weeks before it’s due to set sail, the three-year cruise appears to be in disarray having yet to have secured a ship for the voyage, despite passengers paying out tens of thousands of dollars for what some hoped would become their new home.
First it was the cruise that never ends. Now, passengers are concerned that it might be the cruise that never begins. Life at Sea cruises is due to launch its three-year, round-the-world cruise next month, setting sail from Istanbul on November 1. But with just weeks to go, the company has not yet secured a ship for the voyage. While Life at Sea insists that the cruise will be going ahead on schedule, some future residents are concerned their plans are not yet ship-shape.
