One of the suspects was a 42-year-old man with a criminal record involving 38 offences.

Police officers were following a white car that was moving suspiciously before the shoot-out ensued at around 5pm on June 15.

“When the suspects noticed they were being followed, they tried to escape. They fired several shots at the police.He added that following the shoot-out, the police checked the vehicle and found the two suspects had been killed. Mr Kumar said one of the suspects was a 42-year-old man with a criminal record involving 38 offences, including drug-related crimes.

Mr Kumar added that the case is being investigated under Section 307 of the Penal Code for attempted murder.They can reach Johor police through their hotline on 019-2792095 or its command centre on 07-221299.
