Glinda, however, seems to think that she is capable of magic. Although she doesn't show it, the beginning of the film proves that Glinda will eventually become a powerful witch. Thus, Glinda's magical abilities will have to become apparent at some point, most likely in the time between Wicked and Wicked: Part Two. This isn't just speculation, as the end of Wicked clearly sets Glinda on this path for the sequel.
