Eligible Singaporean voters can verify their information and make necessary updates in the revised voter rolls from February 15 to 28, 2025. The Elections Department (ELD) has announced the opening of the updated registers for public inspection, providing citizens with the opportunity to ensure their details are accurate and complete before the next general election.

Eligible voters in Singapore can review their information in the updated voter rolls from February 15 to 28, 2025. The Elections Department (ELD) announced on Friday, February 14, that the updated registers will be open for public inspection during this period. To be eligible to vote in the next general election, Singapore an citizens must be 21 years or older, not disqualified from voting under any current laws, and have a Singapore residential address or local contact address.

Singaporeans can verify their inclusion in the updated registers and check their details online through the ELD website. Alternatively, they can visit any community center/club, ServiceSG Centre, or schedule an appointment at the ELD office. Singaporeans residing overseas can verify their information online or at Singapore overseas missions designated as overseas registration centers. During the inspection period, individuals can submit claims to add their names if they have been omitted or update their existing information to match their NRIC (National Registration Identity Card). They can also lodge objections to remove a name from the register for their specific electoral division. Claims and objections can be submitted online through the ELD website, or in person at community centers/clubs, ServiceSG Centres, ELD offices, and Singapore overseas missions acting as overseas registration centers. Those whose names were removed from the registers due to non-voting in a previous election can apply to have their names reinstated online through the ELD website. The ELD encourages early applications for reinstatement. Last month, the ELD announced that Prime Minister Lawrence Wong had appointed a committee to review current electoral division boundaries. This committee was tasked with recommending the number and boundaries of Group Representation Constituencies (GRCs) and Single Member Constituencies (SMCs) for the upcoming elections. The updated voter registers show an increase of 5,732 electors compared to the 2,653,942 electors registered before the 2023 Presidential Election in July 2023.
