More than 160 people from the Fuller Center for Housing volunteered to build a home for the single mom and her two sons.
INDIANAPOLIS — A woman’s dream of home ownership came true Friday thanks to a partnership from local community organizations.volunteered to build the home for Stultz, who is a single mom with two sons.Today a dedication ceremony welcomed the family into their new Marion County home.Stultz said she is grateful to have a safe, peaceful space for her family.
"It's just overwhelming,” she said. “I'm really happy that they're never going to have to worry about where they're going to lay down or if we're going to get kicked out of the house because this is our house and we are staying.” Fuller Center for Housing is a nonprofit organization that partnered with Allison Transmission to make this all possible.
